A 'huge'thank you for our wonderful Pilates sessions this year - a real life enhancer at such a difficult period - and we have kept fit! SK
'I mentioned an article about balance and it included 1) heel raises, 2) toe raises, 3) standing with one foot in front of the other in a straight line, and 4) standing on one leg. It also mentioned getting up and down from a chair without using hands and arms, and also heel to toe walking. These are all very good for improving balance which starts to deteriorate from the age of 40 apparently!'
'The benefits also help with posture, sports injury prevention and possibly helps to lower the risk of developing dementia. I'm sure you know all this but it was good for me to be reminded why I do Pilates and walk most days. In fact if anything good has come from Covid it is that I am fitter now than I have ever been! I really enjoy your classes and find that the hour just flies by. Thank you! ' BR
